New FFR 48-714

Hello from the sunshine state, Newly acquired 48-714 FFR from Brisbane auctions, I've had her for 2 days so far and I'm loving it!!!

Went straight to the mechanics and we went over every nut and bolt on the vehicle. About 6 hours later and i have a small list of to do's with the most important being a front left wheel bearing and a rear left brake cylinder. Having a bit of grief with the fuse contacts on the fuse block which I'll start with a clean.

Bought all of Dave's buyers guides wich were very handy and also Purchased a great new owners kit from Landybitz and will service the car shortly.

Aside from that she's now registered and goes like the clappers.

Couldn't find any history when i looked up the ARN, so looking forward to see if I can dig up any info or history on the old girl!!!

Were you able to tell by the markings? Had an ex MP say she was Brisbane based part of the 6RAR, all very interesting.

Its a pity you don't have the vehicle logbook, but Sixty has given you some pure gold info there, direct, take it to the bank.

I did have a look through the arn archives, but I didn't find anything. Will keep searching
