Hi all,
Some of you hopefully will have by now received the latest KVE News which was emailed out yesterday. For those that have not got it, here is a direct link to it on our website:
https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/431291_ee2c760449bb4b7abfe9e8ac526b00db.pdf
It has all the latest information on the Corowa Swim-In & Military Vehicle Gathering, 'Year of the Land Rover'.

If you go to the website, www.corowaswim-in.org on the Home page is a link to the Entry Form, or you can click on this link to go to it directly:  https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/431291_da30e8520c0242e580602ee29614b9a5.pdf

We have now got sponsorship from the Federation Council which will enhance the Participants Packs for those that pre-register, so get your entry forms in now or you could miss out.

Planning is all going well and I know Mick has the Land Rover photo-shoot on Friday well in hand, thanks Mick!

On Australia Day at Corowa we received an award from the Federation Council as the 'Community Event of the Year'.

cheers
Richard Farrant

The Land Rover numbers are now in front of the jeeps but this could change at any time.

Scott Rough (Vice President) and myself have received an email today from Graysonline to let us know that they and some representatives from Frontline Machinery will be attending Corowa from Thursday to Sunday. It is anticipated that they will provide some mementoes for participant packs and attend all the functions we have on Friday and Saturday.

it is time to get your entries in as we have already allocated 2/3rds of our entry packs.

Hi Scott,
Jan has asked me to post the numbers up as I am logging in the entries, I notice a good number of entrants so far have not put their vehicle on the form, these could be 'dark horses' as I know some are jeep owners.
Current tally is Jeeps 41 v. Land Rovers 52
Now before you all get excited, I note there were 80 jeeps at Corowa last year, and in 2010, there were 180 jeeps there.   All good fun  ;)

cheers,
Richard Farrant

Today I collected some items from Grays that will be going into the pack and last weekend we received items from Frontilne. Wait until you see the hats they will look great. There are some entries from a number of people who haven't been to Corowa before and today I received an entry of 4 Land Rovers from the western district of Victoria. There may be another group coming from the Hillston area with up to 8 perenties and these people have never been before. Land Rover numbers are probably up by 15 on the jeep entries.

Looking at the number of entries I have received each day over the past week I feel confidant that we will have at least 320 pre-registered participants. We have ordered 350 hats which are in production at the moment.

56 jeeps to date, but I expect there will be a few more yet.

We have reached our usual number of 300 preregistered packs and now will be ordering more items. This will be a record number of pre-entries which is what I thought might happen particularly with the theme - Year of the Land Rover. For those who are unable to come 2021 is Year of the Jeep so I suggest the Land Rover people try and beat the numbers of jeeps as the jeep people this year are trying to beat the number of Land Rovers. Time will tell.
