RFSV windscreen hinge/bracket
« on: April 22, 2017, 07:11:16 AM »
Can anyone with and RFSV provide me with measurements of the drivers side windscreen hinge/snorkel bracket please?

Going to fabricate one of these up.

Or even better does someone have one to sell or borrow to copy?

Thanks

I would like that bracket rather than drilling the windscreen frame on the side. I am waiting for some to come down the pipe from wrecked rfsv vehicles. The ones Fox studios purchased or from a traffic accident.  Or for someone to make a replica...

Lloyd what measurements do you need, hopefully not all of them.  I should be able to measure tomorrow, Im too knackered now as I've had my RFSV at the classic car show all day with the military section of the VCCWA.
I have posted a picture which may help or may just taunt you....

just noticed it isn't a really good photo, the snorkel joins to the mount in two places one right at the bottom of the mount and one at the top which is more visible.

Hi David,

Sorry for late reply. Many thanks for the picture it will be very helpful. Yes I see the two seperate brackets. If you wouldn't mind, another pic showing the bottom part would be great.

Cheers,
Lloyd

Good evening,

I have a couple of standard hinges off a Perentie 110 Cargo, you may be able to grind or cut a flat edge to present as the bracket in the photo, pm me if they are of interest.

Cheers

Cyril.

I cant take any more pictures for several weeks, my RFSV is at the panel beaters getting the bullbar straightened after a lady drove into it.  Someone else on here may be able to help if urgent
