Nice clear shots Dennis. And your Landy line up was very impressive.
The heat sure knocked everyone around a bit, and made me a little lazy to look at more things than i did. As said the sounds of them engines were amazing, the splattering start up and big puffs of smoke brings you back to past history. Many beautiful aircraft.
Shame about the only flying Corsair in Australia
lucky the pilot was ok.

What a great weekend. Troy and I decided to head to Newcastle on the Thursday. We met up with Roger Styles who was driving a Perentie and Craig Olsen has his 'yellow' GPA. We went to Fort Scratchley in our vehicles and were met by Bob Pritchard who gave us a grand tour prior to being involved in the firing of the guns at 11am. I was given the role of pressing the button to fire the 80 pounder. Scott Fayth had his Land Rover displayed on the day along with some of the museum's vehicles. We had a great morning then headed out to Paterson for the weekend. Thanks to Roger Styles for his hospitality.

After leaving Paterson in a convoy with Manfred's Zundapp and Side Car, Mark's Canter, our Land Rover and Clint's Land Rover we arrived at the Air Show at 8am. A few others were already there and Dennis rolled up with 5 Land Rovers.

First thing in the morning the Corsair crashed. We didn't realise at the time that the owner of the plane was a military vehicle collector. The plane was flown by another person who had problems with landing. During the day we were visited by a lady who said "it looks like you are all having a good day. You have probably heard about our bad luck". At this stage we found out the plane was owned by Graham and Kerry Hosking from Victoria. Troy, Manfred and I decided to go and have a look at the plane and we met up with Graham. Attached are some photos
