Interesting one this is,

Series 2a Workshop
Chassis 253216477C
contract c100900
Taken from the REMLR database

Vehicle Wrecked to rebuild 177-021, Station Wagon in 1979.
No mods noted to this vehicle. Broken up for parts in 1984?? Parts donated to 177-021 or vice versa??

Same vehicle
177-021
Series 2a Station Wagon 10 seater
Contract V13544

Late 2A. Original Chassis 26210913G. Rebuilt on chassis 25316477C Workshop truck 114-141? No BBB notes about chassis change
 AULRO GS Keeper.

There is not much left, it still has part of the station Wagon body on.   Chassis and firewall in excellent condition though

So it's in pieces being donated to other vehicles, or being rebuilt?  Just working out what to put as the current status on the database.

The station wagon 10 seater is being wrecked to rebuild other military vehicles.

30-181 94323890c FFR  The chassis is going to RSL Raemus Rover Racing team to rebuild their 2a which has a cracked chassis.

I think what Stephen has written is a typo error, it should probably read 'TAP' which is a brass tap on the rhs heel board (seatbox next to the handbrake) which allows the driver to take fuel from either the RHS or LHS fuel tank, these were fitted to S2A 88" & 109" military Land Rovers of the day, cheers Dennis

Ah that makes more sense. I'll have to check my crates of spares.

Saw this on facebook,,,

Not a LR but we saw this unfortunate wreck today at Rupanyup, North East of Horsham. It was right next to the first of the Silo Art Trail. :'(
