Genuine LRPV on Ebay - Confirmation

As pointed out by Dennis, the Land Rover for sale on ebay is a genuine late S2A LRPV.

I have confirmed the chassis number with the seller. The seller also sent more photos.

Andamooka is an interesting town, with all manner of older style machinery old Series land Rovers, WW2 trucks of almost every description VW Kombi EH Holden S/wagon, the list is endless, maybe this was the mystery one Wayne E mentioned a few years ago, after all it's almost in his backyard, cheers Dennis

Seller sent these Scott. I asked for photos of the dash and tub. Tub has a large tank in it so he did not take any photos of the rear end of vehicle.

The dash has all the correct features of the LRPV including camo paint and MG mount holes in dash. The winch has the small SASR mod strengthening bracket mount to brush bar as well.

it's interesting but it is rough and missing a lot of the good parts, it's also had a water tank sitting in the back so the springs would be a bit sad, it does look like it's live out side it's whole life and the fuel hose to the carby looks dodgy so I guess the fuel pump and tanks are no good....

I do prefer the normal 2A LRPV's, you had one for sale a while ago is that still for sale?

A couple of things,

1.   This LRPV would look good in your pool room Scott,

2.   At that price, tell him he's dreaming! (depending on the condition of course!)

I am very interested in this vehicle as they are a very rare commodity over here on the east coast. Can I ask who else is showing interest ain this truck as I am going to contact the seller and put in an offer. Is there any one over on the west coast who is into collecting these vehicles who may be also interested in this particular vehicle. I do not want to step on anyones toes or be up against ony forum members when I make that winning bid.
