G 'day Diana.
51 had its own sigs from, at least,  the early '90s to the last '90s.
A member here ( haven't seen him for a while) gavind72, was pronto up there for a bit and Iirc made the report that saw ffrs added for better comms capability for the sigs.
I have some photos with said ffrs, will see if ARN are visible.

Now the patrol sigs are a different group, easily identified by the gaunt, hungry look and the habit of eying off trees and muttering about shadow and skip and droopy dipoles.
