Prodigal Kiwi returns
« on: August 23, 2012, 11:36:07 AM »
Hello All  :)
I joined in about 2007(?). Anyway, after a few "Life dramas"  :'( , I'm back. I like the new forum, although having read some of the posts in the 'REMLR News', there were some teething problems. Hopefully all sorted now. Unfortunately my old user name and password were not acceptable on this forum, so had to re-join, which is a shame. I can't remember my old number (I'll never forget my 'other' old number though, "E91820", never forget that one). I have tried to access the old site, but neither of my old/new passwords/user names are acceptable, grrrrr.
My Skippy and Trailer are still going strong, although the engine has developed a rather annoying "knocking, tapping" noise, which I have been advised could be a failing gudgeon pin (?), which is a tad annoying  >:(. I was extremely lucky to get my hands on a good condition, genuine canopy on Trade me, for a good price. I'll put a couple of photos up in the NZ section. Now all I need is the threaded fuel tank mount for the brass dip-stick for the passenger side tank, and  the old fella will be basically complete and all accounted for  :)
Well that's my catch up.

Cheers
Mike

Welcome back Mike,

If you are referring to REMLR on AULRO, it is now a "read Only" section.

Mrs hh :)
