170-351 in captivity
« on: July 04, 2017, 04:55:26 PM »
Went to an auction a week ago and was losing bidder on this truck. It has not been rebuilt, still has the Mk3 cabin and bins. The chassis number is 12... a very early one. It was bought by a family noted for restoring trucks and tractors, so the end result should be good. The condition was less than perfect, with the door skins rusted out at the bottom, the tray side panels the same and the only intact glass was the driver's door vent window. Someone had really "given it a hiding". The good part was the seats, sides and even the canopy and bows were all there and the engine ran OK. The tyres were almost new. No photos though.

Good Report - pity about the 'no photos' though!
