Be sure that the pushrods havent fallen out of the sockets in the rockers. To adjust the shoes(with the drums off)loosen the locknuts on the rockers, and adjust the shoe until it just lifts from its seat on the expander,a few thou or less, then tighten up the lock nuts.In this position pushing in the plunger should lift the shoes from their seats on the expander with no lost motion.Next make sure the clicking adjuster is backed off,not tightly or it will be damaged.Fit the drum, adjust the clicker until the drum is stopped from turning. This is to centralize the shoes, then back off the clicker until the drum turns with slight drag. Then fit the hydraulic cylinder ,the adjustment shouldnt change. If the hydraulic cylinder is pitted ,get it resleeved.Regards John.
