I know of one wrecker trailer, it was purchased @ auction by Ian T, and later sold to John B (gunbuggy owner from Vic), he offered it to me as a swap for my gunbuggy whilst we were in Cooma 2008, and of course I refused, but as far as I know he still has it, I think I saw it for sale @ $2,500.00 but that was a few years back now, cheers Dennis

Hi All,

I know a bloke here in Melbourne who picked one up at the Bendigo Swap Meet for $800 two years ago.

Hasn't moved since he got it home and still has the price on it 😢

Cheers,

Mick

Hello All,

In another thread Stephen Davis posted up a photograph of a Wrecker Trailer (Assessed May 16th 2016 from, http://remlr.com/forum/index.php?action=post;quote=22355;topic=2297.0;last_msg=22364).

How long would have the wrecker trailers been in service for? What were their main components for lifting, as in was it a commercial beam that was converted to being mounted on a trailer - or was a specific Army adaptation?

I posted this question before - were there any Series III wrecker Land Rover vehicles like there were Series 2 (A?) vehicles in the Australian Army?

Kind Regards
Lionel
