Hi Boys,

I`m still chipping away on 204 slowly sorting all the problems that were inherited with the vehicle not quite being in the state as described by the seller.

What do you think of the seats boys ?

The colour is spot on. Looks great to me. Locally re-covered, remade?

Thanks Boys,

Yeah Carzee the colour is great , it's Jaguar green. The seats were knackered , no body left in them, ply was crumbling , and the foam was stuffed.

These look great and are really comfortable.

Yes Scott, I'll eventually post a run down of what work has been completed. There isn't much of the vehicle that hasn't needed attention.

Cheers,

Mick

Very flash seats Mick,

Not quite as good as the other accessories in your last photos!

Is the Jaguar green material easy to get?
I have got a few to make up in the near future as well.... 8)

Hi Mike,

It didn't take long to get in so I'd say it's readily available. The two seats were completely refurbished , new ply, new foam, vinyl , etc - $660 the pair.

Vehicle dropped off Monday , ready Tuesday arvo.

You are right Mike , the other seat covers were best.

Cheers,

Mick

Mick, can you tell me who/where were your seats reconditioned? And can they do seats from scratch as my gunbuggy has none.

Hi Shorty,

The seats on the LRPV were stuffed when I got it.

I had them restored / recovered at OZTRIM in Ringwood. Alan has completed a number of jobs for me including refurbish a set of rear seats for my shorty and a set of VW bug seats for my daughter.

Alan can be contacted on: 03 9870 2747

He does good work and uses quality material. I have no link or interest in the business , just a happy customer :)

Cheers,

Mick

Hi Shorty,

I'd just say the bloke with the army vehicles , I don't think he's as keen as us 😀

If you need someone to drop off and pick up I'm happy to help with logistic's.

The GB will look great with new seats.

Are you aiming to have her ready for Corowa ? No pressure mate but I'm sure there are plenty of members who hope so.

To give you some confidence, I hadn't taken delivery of the LRPV until well after Christmas and got her there and she needed loads of work.

Good luck,

Mick 👍
