178 204 UP AND ON THE ROAD

Hi Everyone,

Good news !

204 is back on the road and looks like she's going to Corowa.  After plenty of running around and mates searching thru their stores we've managed to get across the line.

I'd really like to thank the following members who without their help it may not have happened. In no order :

Boxy;
FFRMAN;
Dennis M;
Mike K ; and
Hot Rover .

Without your help and advice , I wouldn't even be close. My shout in Corowa Boys - the orange whips are on me.

I'll post some photo's tomorrow after I dig out my old bush gear.  All those who gave encouragement it was also appreciated.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for your kind words, and again thank you to all the members who played a part in the LRPV attending.

She never missed a beat whilst in the high country and turned up at Corowa looking the part (dirty).

Still a few issues to attend to before setting up the firepower although a certain member from NSW has assisted in that department. ( A huge thank you to that man) .

The convoy home Mike K in his 2A ( ex SASR cousin of 204 ) and trailer, Paul in his Inter , and Rick in his very original workshop. 204 developed some fuel issues and limped home from Wallan.

A clutch adjustment, cleaning out of all the fuel,tanks and a overhaul of the carbie are next on the agenda . Then we crack on with the weaponry.

I'll keep up the progress and post a few photo's very soon.

Hello Everyone,

Thought I should share this photo of Mick in his LRPV.

I must say it is a testament to Mick's intestinal fortitude to have this LRPV up and running and fully Road Worthy in the short time frame he was working too!

This is a exceptional rare and mechanically well presented car now - it is the only road registered LRPV, so it was a pleasure to see it at Corowa.

Great stuff Mick,

Terrific to see it up and running.

Probably will only need another 10 clogged up fuel filters to get rid of all that sand in the fuel tanks!
