Prepared fording depth 6 foot 0 in.

Okay, a fairly long snorkel for the crew then, especially if there are any waves!

That is some pretty major waterproofing there,  would take some time to prepare.

I seem to remember seeing a photo of this. Well, you could see the driver and snorkel. Apparently the driver sat on the seat back with an extension for the accelerator pedal. IIRC the maximum fording depth for an Inter was 6ft 6ins. They called this stage three and was a RAEME job to prepare it. Mind you I also recall a wading and fording lesson on the Goulburn River which had one driver winding his window up quick. That was with minimum preparation.
