Ex-Aust, Ex-ANZUK, Ex-NZ 2A Workshop
« on: January 12, 2016, 01:26:55 AM »
On TradeMe at the moment:

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/land-rover/auction-1010354834.htm

ARN:114-248 Lubricating and servicing unit, power operated, Truck mounted, 3/4 ton GS. Transferred to ANZUK. Purchased by NZ. New Reg number NZ33477, 20/08/74.

Despite the Nissan Diesel conversion, it doesn't look in too bad condition. Obviously missing the rear Workshop platform, but I see many orignal features still there. The trailer is based on the chassis of a No5/wksp, but is probably a Walker's NZ built one.

It would be nice to see it restored with it NZ numbers.

Hi,

Just came across this post. I was lucky to purchase this vehicle about a month ago. Am currently working on how to restore it, would be good to get it back to as close to original, (budget depending!). Would be keen to learn more about it, so if anyone can help that would be great.

Cheers
Paul

Paul, the "Bazooka box" featured in pictures 3 and 4 is an original Workshop Truck part, and is mounted across the lower rear of the cab, where the notched cutout is at the bottom corner of the cab.
