AlexR's shed(s)
« on: September 06, 2015, 04:04:31 PM »
Hi everyone, here's a few pics of my vehicles.

Perentie is 49513 and was purchased from afm In 2013.

Series 3 109 2.25L. Was first sold at Amos smith and sons at narrabri, and I am the second owner. It had been sitting in a shed for 15 years when I got it 4 years ago, wasn't running, no brakes clutch etc, all the wiring behind the dash was eaten out by rats but we fixed it up and have been using it on the farm and got it registered a couple of weeks ago.

Defender is a 2010 model and I use it for work mostly

Also have a no. 5 that I got from afm in 2013. Made up some custom boat racks and has a place for the hi-lift and some storage dividers inside.

Here's a few more pics I found of the perentie on a trip around we did last year.
First one is at the SA/NT border rest area (or was it the Tropic of Capricorn?)
Second one at haddon corner
And the last one is along the plenty hwy

Great shots, but am curious how you went with dust and the Number 5? Did it suck much into the Perentie. or was it reasonably free of dust?

The dust was quite minimal in the perentie with the sides up. It was worse with the sides down! There was a lot in the trailer but not much you can do about it. We got a lot of stones in the back that would be flicked up off the tyres and bounce off the trailer and come in through the back window.
