Ok the thanks button is just under the no of thanks you have on left hand side under the colour slide then posts then no of thanks

The button has been gone for me since about the time the Wiki got started.
Before that, it was right where you said it was.
Maybe only Mods can see it now?

Sorry mate, I'm not sure of your point. Did you see the screen shot I posted above of your post ? I see no thank button under your user name.
