Looks like a find that any of us would like to make  :)

Is it going with original motor?

Interesting. I would expect  it to have a long wheel base canopy and.....a stretcher.

It runs smoothly. Not sure if it's the original motor but it's a 2.25 which is a start. Will check all the details on the weekend. Just had to get it home before FFRMAN found out where it was.

I wonder what remains of the Forward Area Ambulance instilation that this vehicle had at one time.

Just had to get it home before FFRMAN found out where it was.

Damn that looks good, I have been known to venture deep into both NSW and SA to "aquire" the odd Landy or two! Lol

Well done, would be unique to set up and stretcher 88" again for Corowa next year

Is the Christmas tree 8172?

regards

Yes, they were certainly painted with brushes says he remembering how much fun it was. If the RAEME inspectors (known to some as the RAEME Provos) said to paint it then paint it we did. It was almost impossible to get them sprayed unless the unit was big enough to have a workshop with the necessary equipment. Our maintenance and repairs were all done either at field or base workshop level. They would not spray paint a vehicle just to make it look pretty.
