This year being the Centenary I'm adding a new dimension to my effort for Anzac Day

I'm going to have to recruit a few helpers, as I will have 2 Go-Pro cameras mounted on vehicles, digital SLR, 35mmPentax and Mamiya med/format camera and of course the Quadcopter from above, all in service on the day, wish me luck, cheers Dennis

ANZAC aerials too! Can't wait to see the results.
The best ANZAC parade moment bar none (for me) was in your parade in Cessnock one year when the veteran in the back of 'Castrol' reached in his pocket and pulled out a mouth organ and played a wartime song I think it was Pack Up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit-Bag, and Smile, Smile, Smile - the crowd reaction etc was simply priceless.

A couple more of AAVA at Lithgow ANZAC Day Parade. We had 7 armoured vehicles on parade.

Well as usual, one step forward, 3 steps backward, my new Go-Pro Hero 4 arrived from the US today, all charged up but it will not work the gimbal on the machine

very disappointed to say the least.
A quick Google search had me on the right track, I had to buy a conversion cable to make it operational, now to wait 6 months for the cable to come from Melbourne (the camera took 3 days from somewhere in the US), anyway there may be a light at the end of the tunnel LOL cheers Dennis :)

Great idea on the Gyro, but is there not now some ruling on the use of such things in a public place.

Fairly off topic...however my interpretation of the law for aerial photography in unmanned vehicles is you can't fly within 5km of an airport or aerodrome; can't fly within 30m of general public (anyone that isn't in your party); if flying FPV there must be a spotter in line of sight at all times; and you can't fly over 400' high. Nobody wants CASA on their back...
I have sold similar aircraft where I work.

I can sell you rockets  :D
Some have cameras fitted too!

The only purchaser of the super-high powered rockets (over $1400 per launch) is the RAAF, who were using them as simulated ground to air missile attack against FA18s for training :p

Enough off-topic, surely...
