Buyers premium with gst was only 5.5%.
There was two Holden sedans. The $40 one was probably the shocker of the two.

So, what do we have here? (Besides a "Hell Yeah" Aussie V8)

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/lindenow-south/cars-vans-utes/v8-land-rover-perentie-110-6x6-custom-ute/1113931009

The cab and front axle are not the military wide 6x6 items, but the chassis looks to be a genuine Civvy 6x6 with narrow-track front axle, and the rear tray is the bones of a military Air Defence tray. The cab seems to be the original Civvy Narrow-Cab 6x6 repainted and with Perentie or Series half doors, and not a 4x4 Perentie body. And the Transfer lever?

I think the tray is original civvy 6x6, although I can't prove it beyond doubt.

And the Transfer lever?

Next to the handbrake; standard 110 fare.

Looks all civvy to me.

If it is ex-mil, possibly trials?

Hmmmm...... I've got a V8 that looks like that. Gives me an idea.

Still got the Commodore. It is the best car I ever had. It is a little bent and not worth repairing (at this time) when you consider the replacement daily drive cost me $400. The motor is a HSV 185i. It is a sweet motor. Maybe I should put it and the gearbox in the hybrid.

Not L/R related, but the last image in the set shows a 48/215 Holden with a 6 digit number (ARN?) on the left side of the bonnet, I don't know how to copy the image, it could be of interest to some one, cheers Dennis
