Can you assist with the ID of this Vehicle
« on: June 03, 2014, 05:37:56 PM »
Afternoon all,
Came across this image this afternoon while doing some research into RAAF Airfield Defence Guard, 110 Perenties, when this image popped up, here is the link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:USAF_RAAF_guards_031103-F-0000S-001.jpg#mediaviewer/File:USAF_RAAF_guards_031103-F-0000S-001.jpg

and this is the image  is there another number after the 003? is it 203 003? Not too much to go on I'm afraid.

Thanks for looking

Phil

I think there is another digit after that 3, behind that shackle.

BTW, some people can't blouse pants.  There are website hints and even youtube videos  - do they need to put out an App?

As for Minimi.. I am no grunt, not worthy of the name, but even I noted a lot of armourer jobs on them and that was during several training shoots.

There is a 230 and 231 range which were RAAF registrations originally, so 230 is the most likely vehicle.  raaf regos are in this list http://remlr.com/ARN/ARNs_perentie_RAAF.php

as 230025 is a GS WW, then there is a good chance that this vehicle, which could be 230031 could be it.
