This workshop has a white cross on it. It looks as if the cross may have been made by using tape of some sort. Not sure if this is a temporary or permanent marking. What would the cross designate?

Hey Tommy,
This was used to identify a neutral or observers vehicle for a large excercise. My old workshop Warthog had these painted on the guards.
