Title: Hello from London U.K. Series 3 109" GS
Post by: Donk on January 31, 2020, 08:06:55 AM
Hi all,
Just taken taken over from Ed here in the U.K. vehicle 94320759C & engine number 94121900B. Hopefully it will now make the U.K. registration process now. Currently doing all the rubbers and shocks (thank you Australian sun for preserving everything else). Here are a few extra photos...
Kind regards,
George

Hi all, Unfortunately still struggling with the U.K. registration process. The U.K. DVLA won't accept REMLR records as it's an 'online resource' and I can't track down the civilian registration details (reg EZA185) on the Australian government/ state websites. Would anybody be able provide me with a photo of the original source material for my REMLR build date information and/ or Victoria State registration photo or official document for EZA185 (it doesn't show when I enter the reg in the state rego site search)? Kind regards, George

In most cases the original source is either Australian War memorial record or Australian Army records at bandiana.  Richard our webmaster and el president (of REMLR) has photos of the records but I don't know how eazy they are to access as for the state rego best to talk to Vic Roads about that :)

Thank you. I'll reach out to Richard. Unfortunately I've already tried Vic Roads and neither their automated chat service or the contact us form was useful (form would come up with errors, but not highlight what they were (spent an hour trying to get it to submit without success). Kind regards, George

George,
Have you thought of trying the BMIHT at Gaydon, they have all the series production records and will be able to produce a dating letter for you. That is all the DVLA should require plus Insurance which can also be issued with the chassis number until a registration mark is issued. It should be be classed as historic which as a consequence will make it MOT and excise except.
