Title: Australian 101's - Filling out the list
Post by: Phoenix on April 19, 2018, 01:19:18 PM
Hello to the collective knowledge base here.

I am trying to further fill out the ARN Lists and photo archive of Australian 101's primarily, but also any other 101's in australia so that I can add them to the list too.

Starting point is the ARN list here http://remlr.com/ARN/ARNs_101.php which I need to repair to remove the extra vehicles from the trailers list.  Please post any pcs or info that you have that is not collated in this list as I am trying to see if we know where most of the mare (approximately at least).  Even photos are of help as many states allow the checking of chassis number against the registration number.

A missing link for several years that one, it went direct to Farnborough from the factory and was never issued with a British Army VRN. Originally it was thought the truck went to Farnborough for loading trials onto various aircraft and air portability with Helicoptors etc. However with that roof and colours it does seem to suggest the roof is a part of its history at Farnborough and could possibly have been a crew bus.

That's odd. It doesn't have a plate on it.

This one used to belong to a mate many moons ago. He bought it from the auctions in Adelaide.
It was recently spotted in Toorak.

This one came up for sale a couple of years ago. Somewhere in the Strathbogie Ranges I think.

I think it is the only vehicle in there with no plate.
