The Registry Of Ex-Military Land-Rovers Au, NZ, etc Land-Rover Series 2A ¾ Ton Fire Tender

The below vehicle belongs to the School of Military Engineering, which houses the Army Museum of Military Engineering. Somebody please correct me if I have htese details teh wrong way around.

The below photos are of the very good condition fire tender ARN 112-183 at the school of military engineering. These photos were taken by Diana Allen. Many thanks to her for the photographs.

The fire fighting trailer is also a rare piece of equipment as well. This is the only known complete example at this stage. What most people didn't know is that it is a little different to the standard No.5. The drawbar is a lot longer than the regular units and the lunette is actually a hydraulic over-ride brake actuator with a mechanical connection to the wheels for the handbrake.
